	Very reliable and well maintained Trophy Twin horsebox. 6.5T with a massive payload of 2.7T. Drives like a van rather than a great big box so very easy to drive by anyone. Converted in 2007 by Peper Harrow and bought by a friend of mine I have owned it since 2012. Everything this box has required it has had (including clutch, radiator, 6 new tyres etc) in addition to it's regular servicing and brakes/brushes/oil replacements. This lorry has started first time, every time since it was bought from PH. (touching wood!) Stalled for two very big horses, facing forwards headroom nearly 8 feet (this is approximate as it's difficult with a tape measure on your own!). I regularly travelled two very large horses to shows - both 17h 1" and they didn't have to crouch - plenty of headroom. Padded sides and breast plate. Side ramp. The living is accessible straight from the cab, and goes via a door to the horses so immediate access if you need it. The living configuration is a bench seat one side, with storage under the seat. Opposite is a hob and sink with cupboards underneath and where the water/gas bottle can be stored. Above the hob/sink is a shelf. To the front there is sleeping for one above the luton - or you can use this as storage. The cab is spacious and there are two single seats with seatbelts. Genuine 52,600 miles on the clock. Only for sale as I am giving up horses.

Originally a hob/ sink unit and wardrobe was fitted but this has been removed to provide a larger floor space in the living area to provide more seating and an area big enough to put a small double mattress down for two people to sleep. Spare wheel and tyre. I have owned this horsebox since it was built for me in 2012. I love the fact you can walk through from the cab to the horses without having to get out of the vehicle. The horse area is huge and the horses travel really well. The vehicle has always been very reliable and ongoing maintenance has been low. The only reason I am selling is I do not use the lorry enough to justify running an additional vehicle and it is a difficult decision for me to sell this lorry as it has been perfect for what I want.

	Reluctant sale of my: compact, low mileage horsebox, due to no longer needing it. The Daf Perkins engine is considered to be the most reliable truck engine and it has never let me down. It is stalled for three and has a huge payload of nearly three tonnes. Basic living, ample storage and tack cupboard. This one is the tilt cab so easier to work on. Registered in 1996, it has been very well maintained and had thousands spent on it and has only done 104, 000 km to date. Due to be plated at the end of April but should sail through as only done 400 miles since last test and had no advisories. It had a new paint job last year. 	5.6 TONNE LWB TROPHY TWIN BUILT BY PEPER HAROW HORSE BOXES An old one but a good one “Roger” is a quality horsebox, solidly built to carry two big horses and is easy to drive and manoeuvre. The best horsebox I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few) and all horses, from a 17 hand Warmblood to a mini Shetland have loaded without fuss and travelled brilliantly. Recently weighed at 4.1 tonnes with diesel, gas bottle, water, grooming kit, fully loaded living and 2 people giving a good payload of 1.5 tonnes for horses and tack. Side loading, forward facing with small day living and MOT until 31/08/2019. The box itself is in excellent condition but the cab is a bit tired and could do with some TLC. 	1998 Ford Iveco 75E15 with 6 speed power steering it does have higher mileage due to being a hay truck before I bought it. That is why I have ped the price as most 1998 horse boxes are around £ 8.000 and above. I have repainted it in the past from lime green to blue and yellow. It has been a very reliable lorry which gives a very smooth ride for the horses - easy to drive light in the hands (currently lady owner and driver) never let me down. Service regularly two batteries making it 24 volts Currently plaited till end Sept 2016 : The buyer will get 1 whole year plaiting The plaiting is now booked for the 9th September 2016, there are many many watchers on this sight and a lot of interest from other sights. 	For Sale: 3.5t Coachbuilt Horsebox. 2000 plate, converted 2008. 159k miles, in use, so may hit 160k. Runs perfectly, been maintained really well. Cam belt been replaced at some point, don’t know the date, but it’s in excellent condition (first thing I had checked!). Always starts first time. 2.5 diesel. No funny noises, no leaks etc. MOT & service Apr 2016. 1t payload, I don’t have a cert, but will try to get one The Horse area: Length 7’2 long and Height 7’6. I travel my 17.2 with plenty of room. New floor and partition 2015. Fully padded horse area. Condition of floor underneath is brilliant. Removable grilles between horse-groom area for safety. There are 2 roof vents, two windows and a window from cab – horse area. The ramp is in excellent condition (is a little heavy, but I manage on my own) The bodywork is excellent, no rust patches inside or out on this box, paint job is excellent too, only very minor scuffs. The grooms area has hook, saddle pole and cushioned seating, spare tyre. All tyres have loads of tread and are in very good condition. The drivers cab – is in great condition, everything works, been maintained well. We think it was converted by J Oates, but I don’t know that for a fact. I don’t have much history with it, I bought it in good faith and could clearly see it has been well looked after, my mechanic also says it’s never wanted for anything and been well looked after. I have V5, MOT cert, receipts for maintenance I’ve had done. It is running really well and ready to be used now, open to all inspections, test drives etc, really lovely little box. Only selling as gone back to 4x4 and trailer.

I wrote it in paragraphs! - Personal number plate CIO KUR - For 10 more photos see British Dressage website classified ads. - Built by a professional horsebox constructor for his own family use based on a Mercedes 311 CDi 2002 MWB platform chassis – not a van. Changed circumstances meant I was able to buy it in 2008 when ready to be painted. Jaguar Winter Gold metalic was chosen. It has been very lightly used since for a few competitions and local training sessions each year. - There is an electrically operated ramp, internal CCTV camera for horses and another for reversing, also a good Sony radio/CD player. The maker intended to tow a trailer with carriage and the massively strong tow bar, which has never been used, is very heavy. If unwanted, its removal would add significantly to the present one tonne carrying capacity. It has a generous groom's area with storage places plus a large Luton shelf and saddle holder. The smooth, white upper walls and ceiling throughout make it light and airy. - Use of thick rubber for the floor and resilient EVA protective lower internal wall covering provide an extremely well cushioned space for horses. The tall ramp allows a gentle slope for loading/unloading. - The deep, very strong, aluminium flooring is flat with no intruding wheel arches and has a properly designed drain. Very sturdy aluminium has been used extensively to keep weight down and maintain strength. The substantial aluminium partition frame has a good head guard, plenty of width adjustment, and a tough lower skirt. There is a central gap under the 'counter top' with storage space either side. This allows access between the groom's section and the horses. The groom flooring is non-slip aluminium checker plate. - The Sprintshift gearbox is effortless if left in automatic but there is a sequential gear lever for manual use when wanted. It can be driven on a car licence. Economy is good with about 30 mpg on a run. It drives like a large car and has recently had a full service/oil change and MoT certificate. - The Sprinter has been carefully maintained. The clutch release bearing needed replacement in July so a complete new clutch assembly was fitted by Mercedes at the same time. The engine has a chain rather than cam belt so no periodic replacement is necessary. The battery was recently renewed.. Michelin tyres are fitted all round and there is nothing in need of attention I'm aware of. No recommended synthetic engine oil needs adding between services. Only Shell V-Power Nitro+ diesel has been used since bought. The Mercedes diesel engine is particularly durable and designed for long life. It has a reputation for covering 500,000 miles or more as a commercial workhorse. It came with a full service history plus every MoT certificate and servicing paperwork since has been kept. - Dimensions: Breast bar to rear wall: 204.5cms (80.5”) Height: 221cms (87”) Width: 176.5cms (69.5”) Groom's floor area: 11.45 x 17.53cms (45” x 69”) Luton shelf: 76.2 x 170.1cms (30” x 67”) Total internal length including Luton: 427.5cms (168.5”) Breast bar 'counter' front to back: 50.8cms (20”) - We will be sad to part with this fine vehicle which has been a pleasure to own and is often admired. Unfortunately, what will be our last dressage horse has developed COPD so no more competing. - The abbreviation CIO for Concours International Officiel (FEI International Event) led to choosing the KUR number plate. - Location is midway between Saffron Walden and Cambridge.

This trailer has its service book up to date and is in an excellent used condition. Apart from the standard fittings there are many extras. I have put in two skylight roof vents which made a huge difference to air flow in the summer (especially when I spent time crawling on the M25 in July last year!) and keeps the horses more comfortable. Horse area light and inviting with good ventilation. It has a good solid wood and aluminium floor with rubber matting and drainage holes, rubber lined walls and a padded moveable partition. This lovely, reliable little box has been well maintained, is very easy to drive and horses travel very well in it. It has been serviced regularly and sailed through it's last MOT with no advisories.
